This is a small Parish Council, which does not have any Committees.



Personnel matters

A working group of councillors deals with any personnel/employment matters.

For 2024-25 this group comprises: Cllrs Johnson, Hunter and Watson.

For 2024-2025 the Chairman of the Council is Cllr Vince Bendin

Vice-Chairman of the Council

For 2024-2025 the Vice-Chairman of the Council is Cllr Robert Johnson.

Appointments to external organisations

Cotherstone Village Hall

Cllr Watson is the Parish Council representative on the Village Hall Management Committee.

County Durham Association of Local Councils

No representatives are currently appointed.

Clerk

Judith Mashiter is Clerk to the Parish Council and its appointed Responsible Financial Officer.

Judith has lived in Teesdale since 1989 and has held various roles within local organisations. In addition to running a print design and publishing business, Judith has also worked as a consumer champion in the postal, health and water industry sectors.
